Overview
Once you submit your designer application, our curation team begins a structured evaluation process to determine alignment with our Fashion Week programming. This guide outlines exactly what happens next—so you know when to expect communication, what steps follow approval, and how to begin preparing for your runway presentation.
1. Application Review (Curation Process)
After your application is received, our curation team evaluates:
- Brand identity and positioning
- Portfolio quality and cohesion
- Runway readiness
- Collection strength and aesthetic direction
- Fit with the programming for NYFW, Paris, L.A., Miami Swim Week, or Dallas, TX showcases
If you want to ensure your submission is as strong as possible, review:

2. Follow-Up Communication
During review, you may receive an email requesting:
- Additional portfolio images
- More information about your collection
- Clarification on look count or materials
- Details on preferred event dates or cities
This typically occurs before approval and helps us understand your brand more deeply.
3. Designer Approval & Offer
If your brand is approved, you will receive an acceptance email that includes:
- Your approved Fashion Week city
- Available event dates
- Venue details
- Designer package information
- A breakdown of what is included in your showcase
- Production timelines and expectations
For a complete overview of what is included, see:

4. Contract & Payment
To formally secure your runway slot:
- You will receive a designer contract
- Payment instructions will be provided
- Your spot is officially confirmed once payment is completed
Please note: All Fashion Week cities have limited designer capacity.
Early confirmation is strongly recommended.
5. Pre-Production Onboarding
Once payment is confirmed, you will receive access to your full pre-show schedule, which may include:
- Rehearsal times
- Hair & makeup guidelines
- Backstage instructions
- Model details
- Styling guidelines
