How to Choose the Right City
Consider these factors when deciding where to intern:
- Career goals: If you want maximum media exposure, choose New York. If you are interested in entertainment and celebrity culture, choose Los Angeles. For international experience, choose Paris.
- Lifestyle fit: Miami offers a resort atmosphere and Los Angeles offers a creative, laid-back environment.
- Availability: Each city's Fashion Week falls on different dates. Check the schedule and choose the events that fit your calendar.
- Department interest: Some departments are in higher demand in certain cities. Review the sections above to see where your skills are most needed.
Can I Intern at Multiple Cities?
Yes. Many interns participate in more than one Fashion Week event.
