Where to Stay for the October 2026 Paris Season

Short answer: stay in or beside the 2nd arrondissement. The entire season (October 1–3, 2026) happens at one address — Cléry, 17 Rue de Cléry, 75002 Paris, in the Sentier — so a room nearby puts the runway, the cafés, and the late nights all on foot.

Neighborhoods, Ranked for This Trip

1. The 2nd — Sentier. The venue's own quarter. Garment-district workrooms below, design-minded hotels and wine bars above. The show, the morning café, and the last drink are all on foot.
2. The 10th — Bonne Nouvelle edge. Across the boulevard, minutes on foot, and generally friendlier on price than the central arrondissements. A genuine value pocket.
3. The 9th — Grands Boulevards. A short walk northwest. Strong hotel stock, big-city evenings, easy stroll to Rue de Cléry.
4. The 1st — Louvre & Palais-Royal. The postcard base: polish, the Tuileries, serious shopping — and typically the steepest rates. Right for a milestone trip.
5. The 3rd — Haut Marais. Galleries, concept stores, the best boutique-browsing of the five. Slightly farther, worth it if the Marais is half the reason you're coming.

What to Avoid

Not a neighborhood — distance masquerading as a deal. A charming room far outside the center puts a Métro commute between you and every show. In a city this walkable, book the walk.
