Your first time at New York Fashion Week? Here's exactly how the day flows at Gotham Hall (1356 Broadway, Manhattan), September 11–13, 2026 — from arrival to the final walk.

Arrival & Check-In

  • Arrive 30–45 minutes before your show — General Admission floor position is first-come, first-served
  • Have your QR code ticket ready on your phone (delivered by email after purchase)
  • Front Row VIP and premium pass holders use the priority entry line
  • Security screening at entry; bags are checked

Seating

  • General Admission: open floor standing — early arrivals get the best sightlines
  • Reserved Seating: your assigned seat (Rows 2–7) is printed on your ticket; ushers will guide you
  • Front Row VIP: escorted to front row seating 3 feet from the runway, with complimentary champagne

During the Show

  • Shows feature multiple designers back-to-back — Saturday Night alone features 9 designers
  • Runway segments move quickly; the energy is high and the music is loud
  • Photography is welcome — phones and personal cameras are fine (professional media require credentials)
  • Shows are all ages

Backstage — If You Want to Go Deeper

  • Backstage Atelier ($295 add-on): a guided pre-show backstage tour, limited to 10–15 guests per show — see hair, makeup, and final fittings up close
  • Room 16 passes include backstage access as part of the experience
  • Runway to Reception ($350 add-on): a private post-show reception with designers and models (20–30 guests per show)

What to Wear

No strict dress code — elevated street style is the vibe. Street-style photographers work the entrance, so many guests dress to be shot. Comfortable footwear matters if you're standing in GA.

After the Show

  • Guests exit through the main hall; the entrance area is the hub for photos and mingling
  • On Friday night, the official after party — The Rose Ball — runs 11 PM–2 AM at Gotham Hall. It is ticketed separately; runway tickets do not include after-party access.

Practical Tips

  • Gotham Hall is steps from Herald Square — subway is the easiest way in (34th St–Herald Sq)
  • Between shows on a Day Pass, Midtown has endless food options within two blocks
  • Tickets are 100% transferable from your dashboard if a friend takes your seat
